Those who know me, know I love skiing! When I was a child, my family went a couple of times to Switzerland for the annual skiing holiday and also later, when my sister lived near Basel for a longer period of time, we were able to try out some smaller and bigger skiing areas in Switzerland. For a long time it was a typical “winter destination” for me, until in July 2019 I was drawn to the Bernese Oberland with a friend. One thing is certain, Switzerland is beautiful, whether in winter on two boards on the mountain or in summer when hiking on the mountain or in the valley. Definitely always worth a trip.
